About this sight

The Danube Rocks cover almost 26,000 hectares in three counties: Calarasi, Ialomita and Constanta and is a Nature 2000 site. Located at the confluence between two Danube branches, on a major migratory route, the rocks of Harsova are an important area for the rest and feeding of rare bird species.
