The Court of Tatarestii de Sus is a residence erected by the Balaceni boyars.
Certain data on the construction of the fortified court comes from 1798, when Zoita Balaceanu buried her husband in the church of the complex, making it safe to presume that the works had already been completed. The complex including houses, warehouses, stables and a chapel, was fortified with a bell tower, corner towers and shooting windows. The entire complex covers a surface of about 5400 square metres.
