The Ulmetum Fortress is located on the north-west border of Pantelimonu de Sus, built at the end of the 4th century. It includes many civil buildings, a basilica, and a military commandment. It survived until the end of the Roman-Byzantine age. Parts of the walls can now be seen, where archaeological excavations were performed.
