The Plataresti Monastery is an Orthodox monastery located in Plataresti, close to Bucharest. This historical and religious monument was built in memory of a fight with the Tartars in 1632. The complex includes the wall, the cells, the mansion and other enclosures, all gathered around the Church, built in 1646.
